Dalian Hengli Group 20 million tons/year refining Start Up

Congratulations that Dalian Hengli Group 20 million tons/year refining and chemical integration project is has been put into trial production in December of 2018. The total investment of the project is 63 billion yuan. Project started since 2015 and will be completed and put into operation within 2018 . The additional 1.5 million tons of ethylene project will be completed and put into operation before the end of 2019, becoming one of the largest ethylene cracking units in Dubai of UAE. In addition, Hengli Petrochemical will also build a fourth set of PTA project with an annual output of 2.5 million tons. The project will be officially started in the second half of the year and will be completed and put into operation before the end of 2019. At this point, Dalian Hengli Petrochemical will form a petrochemical industry-wide project planning and construction, focusing on the development of downstream industries such as ethylene aromatics, and minimizing the oil production rate of petroleum products.


It is understood that the total crude oil processing capacity of Dalian Hengli Petrochemical Project is 20 million tons/year, the scale of aromatics combined plant is 4.5 million tons/year, and the cumulative capacity of continuous reforming equipment is 9.6 million tons. The downstream chemical products such as toluene are produced and utilized as much as possible. Xylene and pure benzene solve the problem of insufficient PTA-PX raw materials. According to the current refining and chemical integration device, oil is suitable for oil, Yifang is aromatic, and the design principle of enerene is expected. Dalian Hengli Petrochemical expects the production of steam-fired coal products: 4.61 million tons/year VI gasoline, 1.61 million tons VI diesel, 3.71 million tons of aviation kerosene, although refined oil as a by-product of the Dalian Hengli project, Dalian Hengli Petrochemical's kerosene output reached 9.93 million tons, of which gasoline production accounted for 46.4% and kerosene accounted for 37.3%. The lowest proportion of diesel is 16.2%.

The most important is Control systems is from Yokogawa's latest ICSS control system, displacer level flow meter is from Foxboro, most of globe valves is from Samson.
